3 Ways To Improve Fertility

Posted by Wink Admin on

Looking to get pregnant? Then you know the best way to conceive is to get busy when you’re fertile.

However, it’s not always easy to figure out when your most fertile times will be.

Assuming that you and your partner have informed your doctors that you will be trying for a baby, here are three ways in which you can increase your fertility and up your chances of conceiving.

1. Track Your Periods

This is the easiest way that you can attempt to predict when your most fertile time will be.

There’s a wealth of information available to you online that will help you; everything from free printable calendars to step-by-step instructions on taking your body temperature - the information and help are out there, you just have to use it.

You can also purchase ovulation tests at many of your local stores. These tests will help you figure out your best days to conceive.

2. Have Sex Regularly

Sure, you can try to pinpoint your exact day that you’ll be fertile - but you can also toss it all to fate and just have sex regularly while you’re trying to conceive.

Having sex at least four times per week (out of a seven day week) hugely increases your chance of becoming pregnant among healthy couples.

Sperm can live up to five days in a woman’s body, if you’re having sex regularly then you’re automatically helping to increase your chance of becoming pregnant by always having sperm near your egg once it releases.

3. Exercise, Eat Right, and Remain Positive

It’s no secret that if you’re stressing over becoming pregnant, then you’re putting unnecessary strain on your body both physically and emotionally. This strain can lead to problems in your fertility.

Likewise if you’re not taking care of yourself. You don’t have to add fifty new routines to your exercise regime, but you should be staying active at least three times a week. Walking is your best exercise - it’s easy to do, great for your body, and it can also help to lower your anxiety levels by releasing feel-good endorphins into your bloodstream.

Remaining positive throughout your baby-making attempts leads to a less stressful attempt at becoming pregnant. Make becoming pregnant a fun activity - add some sass and spontaneity into the mix - pamper each other and really, just relax and have fun while you’re trying to conceive.
