5 Ways To Be Instantly Healthier

Posted by Wink Admin on

Being and staying healthy is an everyday commitment. Your body, mind, and mental state have to be all working in tandem to continuously want to be the best both physically and emotionally.
Here’s five ways to keep at it on a daily basis.

1. Get Your Rest

When your body isn’t fully restored from previous days, it can interrupt the normal functionality of your whole system – this includes both the physical aspects of how your body operates as well as the emotional end of things as well. You want to aim for at least seven full hours of sleep a night but eight is even better. This will allow your body to recover from the previous day’s events and you’ll be best prepared to tackle whatever today throws your way.

2. Eat Breakfast

It’s so important you leave yourself enough time in the morning to have a healthy breakfast. If it helps you to plan out your meals for the week, then do so. The best way to know what’s going into your body is if you prepare your meals yourself, and you’ll save a ton of money in the long run rather than eating out daily.

3. Have Some Alone Time In The Morning

Set your alarm clock an hour earlier so you don’t start your day in a rush. Take the extra hour to meditate, sit quietly with yourself, or map out your plan for the day ahead. Taking a little extra time at the start of your day will help ensure your plan is in place for what you’d like to accomplish in the hours ahead.

4. Stretch Out Your Muscles

Think yoga for fifteen to twenty minutes or some other gentle stretching moves that tell your body your day is about to begin. Combining yoga with a few minutes of meditation or quiet time in the morning will help to energize and bring your mind and body into the present moment of your new day.

5. Exercise Daily

This doesn’t mean you have to join a gym and dedicate every free moment you have to the treadmill. You can easily get regular daily exercise in by taking the stairs instead of an elevator or escalator. Park far away from the store and get some extra walking in. Clean your house at a brisk pace – even dance it out for thirty minutes while you listen to your favorite tunes. Being healthy starts with you, so find out what works best for you and attempt to add in some of the above recommendations. Once you find your healthy groove, it will soon become second nature in making healthier choices in everything else you do throughout your day.
